Reza Ilkhani, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Ilkhani has over 20 years of finance experience with a solid background in consulting, corporate development, and financial management.  He has led numerous consulting assignments to help companies gain insights into business operations and strategies, valuation, transaction support, financial forecasting and planning, financial tools for determining financing requirements of early stage companies as well as for end of life bankruptcy cash flow planning and monitoring.

Some of his notable consulting assignments include the Enron settlement, valuation of DreamWorks’ film portfolio (George Soros acquisition), GlaxoSmithKline-IRS (largest IRS settlement in history) where he modeled and analyzed GSK’s global operation. Sample transactions include the largest transaction in the history of Kaiser Permanente by that time, valuations for a national dialysis center, and number of valuations of pharmaceutical assets.  His financial management experience includes being the finance lead of the largest business unit of a technology venture with $200 million in Series-A funding, senior FP&A role at Kaiser Permanente, the CFO of Bioxiness Pharmaceuticals (antibiotic venture), and lastly as Senior Director at Burr Pilger Mayer, advising companies with their multinational structures.

Mr. Ilkhani was educated at University of California, Berkeley (economics, Honors, nominated for Economics Departmental Citations), University of Chicago (MBA, finance), and University of Oxford (post-graduate program).
